As a developing country, Pakistan has faced severe educational challenges since its establishment, so the education system did not meet the country’s expectations. Many factors cause this situation. This article explores some key issues that have plagued Pakistan's education system so far. Based on a critical review of the existing literature, the document proposes solutions to existing problems in Pakistan’s education system. Unqualified teachers are a major reason for the failure of our education system. No new teaching methods and materials were introduced to make the course more interesting for students. A chronic problem in our education system is the shortage of teachers. Possibility of sufficient resources. In Pakistan, there is clear evidence that the main driver of literacy is the lack of quality education in many regions.
Lack of resources in education and its effect on student learning:

This system has created a huge gap in the nation and even deeply penetrated into the critical veins of the nation. A sound education system is crucial for each nation in the world. Pakistani education system thanks to being aimless and weak has not been able to develop the guide its individuals on sound political and social grounds. there's a lack of cohesion within the system and it's a lot of liable to word general education that doesn't bring any masterly workforce of the ensuing there is increasing unemployment. this case might promote a sense of deprivation among the masses. due to this, there is cultural and political unrest within the society. Besides, there's a lack of instructional opportunities for science and technology. In this manner, the event of thinking, reasoning, and power of scholars needs to be polished.
Lack of professional teachers:
Teachers are the backbone of the education system. The quality of teachers in Pakistani schools is very poor. According to a report by UNESCO, the quality of teachers and teaching in the school is very poor. This situation is grammar in remote parts of Punjab, Sindh, and Baluchistan where even there are not available in schools. Research has found that teachers do not use new methods and strategies for teaching and learning. The majority of the richest don't know about lesson planning which renders them incapable of dealing with various problems in the process of teaching and learning.
Poor supervisory standards:
The role of supervision is the slower weakness of faults of teachers and show
the treatment in the form of transfer to remote areas or event termination from
services. Through effective supervision techniques, the process of teaching and learning could be improved. The system of school supervision is aimless. There is not only a lack of supervisory activities in school but the process of supervision in the cell does
not bring any positive results for teachers and students. The supervision system is concerned with controlling and harassing the teacher rather than providing help and guidance for the improvement of performance.
Corruption:
Education corruption threatens society's well-being because it redoes social inequality. Eight sabotages development by undermining the formation of educated, competent, and ethical individuals for future leadership and the labor force.
System of examination:
The exam is an assessment of the student's progress. It should comprehensively evaluate student performance based on quality and quantitative methods. The standard should ensure the validity and reliability of the procedures used in the evaluation process. The main purpose of the certificate is not to provide a comprehensive assessment of student performance. The Pakistani education system only scores the memory of students. He did not evaluate them in all aspects of teaching.
Lack of learning material:
There is
less learning material news in schools. Students study science subjects but in
government schools, there is no computer lab or science laboratory. That's why
students are unable to learn these subjects. This is the
reason that students have less interest in science subjects because they are not performing them practically.
Unaffordable fee structure:
Inflation
in the sector of education is the most important issue that needs to be
considered. There is a high fluctuation in the field of good and average-quality schools. People belonging to the middle class cannot afford to send their
children to a school that offers quality education due to its high fee. Moreover,
the schools are not taking the fees for June and July in advance which adds to
the problem of parents. This is also due to uniformity in the education system,
charging fees according to requirements and setups.

The education system of Pakistan has not been able to play its work effectively in nation-building. This factor has contributed to the development of frustration in our Pakistani society. The direction of the system of education introduces force on degree holders who are deficient in higher-order life skills such as reflection, critical thinking, analysis research, and creativity. The education system for children has focused on reading the individuals and outdated information and knowledge which is the solution to the current fast-changing world. Students coming out of the Pakistani education system are theoretically sound but have no skills to apply whatever they learn from their institution due to the traditional methods of teaching and learning.
